What Is the Mevlana Exchange Program?
The Mevlana Exchange Program is a program that facilitates the exchange of students and faculty members between higher education institutions in Turkey and those abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 23, 2011, and numbered 28034, the way was paved for student and faculty exchanges between higher education institutions abroad and those in our country.
Unlike other exchange programs, the mobility within this exchange program encompasses higher education institutions worldwide, without any geographical restrictions.
Students wishing to participate in the exchange program may do so for a minimum of one and a maximum of two semesters of study; faculty members may participate to teach at higher education institutions around the world for a minimum of one week and a maximum of three months. Similarly, students and faculty members from all regions of the world can come to higher education institutions in Turkey.
