Procedures for Taking Courses at Other Higher Education Institutions
Students in our department must pay attention to the following points regarding requests to take courses at other higher education institutions:
Students may take courses at universities listed in the list of higher education institutions announced by the department.
Students must submit the course descriptions for the courses they wish to take, along with their written requests, to the Department Chair.
Applications will be evaluated in accordance with the Yıldız Technical University Course Equivalency and Transfer Guidelines. For a course to be considered equivalent, its content and credit hours will be taken into account; the course may be taken only after receiving the approval of the Departmental Transfer Committee and a decision by the Faculty Administrative Board.
Courses taken without a decision by the Faculty Administrative Board will be deemed invalid; these courses will not be included in the student’s academic plan and will not be subject to any equivalency evaluation.
To prevent our students from facing any adverse consequences, it is strongly advised that they complete their course registration procedures in accordance with the procedures and principles outlined above.
