The Academic Thesis Program (ATP), carried out in collaboration between the SSB—Presidency of Defense Industries—and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), continues with its updated structure for the 2026–2027 academic year. The program is open to 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students and master’s students pursuing a thesis-based degree. Students carry out their project and thesis work under the guidance of an industry mentor, aligned with the defense industry’s artificial intelligence needs. 📌 Application requirements: • Be a Turkish citizen • Be a 3rd- or 4th-year undergraduate student or a master’s student pursuing a thesis-based program • Have a minimum GPA of 2.00 / 4.00 (53 out of 100) 📅 Program schedule: • Applications: September 18 – October 8, 2026 • Announcement of Results: November 2026 • Report Submissions: December 18, 2026; February 26, 2027; May 7, 2027 • Winter Camp: March 2027 • Final submission and thesis presentation: June 11, 2027 • Final Meeting and Poster Day: July 2027 • Summer camp: August – September 2027
