Şamil Ekrem ŞALLI, a master’s student in the Communications Program of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Yıldız Technical University, and Dr. Necmiye Özlem ÜNVERDİ, a faculty member of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Yıldız Technical University, have received the Best Paper Award in the Communications Systems Category at the International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO 2025), held in Bursa on 27–29 November 2025, with their paper entitled “Comparative Study of Radio Frequency, Free-Space Optical, and Hybrid Air-to-Air Communication for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Swarms.”
