Dear Students,
Updates have been made to our educational plans with the aim of improving the quality of education at our university and aligning our curriculum with current requirements.
As part of this process, all students have been transferred to the 2026 Academic Plan (Curriculum) system. In line with this curriculum change, critical updates that will affect your course selections and graduation status are listed below:
• Elective Pool Change: The “Basic Sciences Elective Pool” has been completely closed.
• Required Course Update: The “Discrete Mathematics” course, which was previously part of the aforementioned pool, has been designated as a required course for all students under the new curriculum plan.
• Credit Transfer Processes: The credit transfer processes for all courses taken by our students in previous semesters have been successfully completed through the system.
What should you do next?
1. Course Registration Check: During the semester course registration period, you must now select the “Discrete Mathematics” course—which you previously planned to take as an elective or have not yet taken—from the “Required Course” category.
2. Curriculum and Transcript Review: It is important that you review your updated 2026 academic plan, your completed alignment procedures, and your graduation requirements via the Student Information System (OBS).
We kindly ask that you complete your course registration and monitor your academic progress in light of this update, and we wish you success in the new academic year.
